Emma's weight loss journey began in June 2019 when she decided that enough was enough. Having been overweight for most of her adult life, she had reached the time in her life where she decided that instead of looking after everyone else, she should start looking after herself. She felt as though she was following a diet plan that she could not only stick to with ease, but one that actually worked! In 6 months Emma lost 3 1/2 stone and felt the best she had ever felt.
Carol's weight had increased, her self confidence and self esteem disappeared until she no longer liked the person staring back at her in the mirror. Nothing fitted anymore, she couldn’t wear what she wanted to and all her joints creaked. She had difficulty walking long distances, climbing the stairs and bending down. As an asthmatic, this was causing her real problems. Emma encouraged her to start the 1:1 diet and Carol went on to loose 5 stone in 8 months!
